I haven’t drawn an animal in what seems a very long time, so I thought I’d draw one of my favourite animals, the elephant!
I enjoy a good challenge and my goodness this was certainly one! All those wrinkles (no doubt there’s a more technical term for them) and their trunks required a lot of patience, but I think I pulled it off.
In fact I’m very happy with how this one turned out!
I used my ball point pen for most of the drawing and finished the drawing off by colouring the elephants in with a pencil.
Why anybody would want to hurt and kill such beautiful animals is beyond me!
